An integral part of every sport and training is the reduction of body weight. Thanks to hypoxic exercise, losing weight is more fun. In fact, hypoxic training accelerates calorie burning due to increased body activity more than is the case with current practice. In addition, people working out in hypoxic conditions, given the same time they would use doing classical workout, get far better results with a more permanent effect. It is a confirmed fact that at the same time a person in hypoxic environment can burn twice as many calories than under normal conditions.
If we were to compare the reduction of body weight in normal and hypoxic environments, training in high altitude air has a number of indisputable advantages:

For basic workout that you can do in the comfort of your home, you will need a hypoxic generator, which is a device which produces "hypoxic" air. You will wear a special breathing mask on your face through which you will inhale air. Then it depends on individual athletes, which exercise machine they will use. A wide variety of machines is available, from treadmills to rowing machines. For beginners, we recommend to set the Hypoxicator to a value between 1,500 meters and 3,000 meters above sea level and training to last from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Desired results will come if you repeat hypoxic workouts two to three times a week.
Overseas, fitness centres widely use hypoxic systems in the form of large hypoxic rooms, where a whole group can work out at the same time. This form of workout has the advantage in terms of comfort, as patrons in the hypoxic room do not need to wear special masks. Currently, the first fitness centres in the Czech Republic are being adapted to the hypoxic systems.
For individuals who do not enjoy workouts, the hypoxic therapy (IHT) is the perfect method. The principle of this method is regular inhalation (5 minutes) of hypoxic air, which corresponds to the environment at altitudes between 3,500 m and 6,000 m above sea level, and the regular air.
You will achieve significant results when you repeat the one-hour cycle every day and continue the whole process for ten days. To maximize the therapeutic effect, it is beneficial to repeat the whole hypoxic therapy two to four times per year.
